April 28th, 2009

Ryan has had a stable day which today is a good day. We had a small issue with his oxygen pumps, but we were able to resolve it with the help of the home health care company. Ryan continues to have pain in his stomach area and in his upper back. Please pray that Ryan is pain free and comfortable during this time.

Thank you for all your calls, emails and messages on the blog. The support you have all shown means so much to all of our family.

I am continually amazed by all that Ryan has been able to do and accomplish. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family daily.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. (2 Corinthians 1:3-5)
With love,
Christine DeSanti

Hey Ryan:

The Flames are golfing now and now that the Jackets are awaiting next season, I will gladly take you along as a psuedo Chicago Blackhawks fan for the remainder of the Hawks playoff run. We're now here in Vancouver, BC, where the Blackhawks will battle the Canucks in a best of 7 set. Gonna find out how good this young team really is now as Vancouver has truly hit their stride and they'll be tough to beat. But hey buddy, I'm still praying for you and your family and hoping for the best for you my courageous friend. Keep in touch and best wishes until next time Ryan. Keep fighting the good fight.

Your a huge inspiration to so many. You've taught us all how to live life by the minutes, and to enjoy what you have and forget about the silly stuff. You've done so much. Your leaving an awesome legacy!!! Tell Dad and mom, grandma and grandpa all the things you want them to continue for you. You know you can still direct them from up above.
Love on your family, now is the time to lean on their strength. I wish you very little pain, peace, and a final hapiness. You have done well, you have done well.

Drusie (your dad's old playmate and cousin Brian's cousin).
